It lapped the ring in record time aswell, for a fwd. Totally destroyed the new Focus RS. I drove the original R26 and very nearly bought one, but saw some of the depreciation figures and decided I was better off without. That was a great car aswell, handling was really good for a heavy car (1300kg's+).

I can imagine it being a very good car on a track but I'm a bit disapointed that they've not upped the power a bit from the Cup/F1.

i like that, but i may be sjot down for saying it, but i dont like the body work, not as agressive as i thought it should have been!
I've got a liquid yellow R26 at the moment, might have one of these on order by tommorrow, comes with,carbon bonnet, new lighter wheels with different et,no foglights or light washers, no xenons,no stereo or seatbelts just harnesses, new carbon shelled bucket seats, no rear seats, re tuned suspension,no climate control,no electric mirrors, grooved discs and perspex windows, sure ive missed some bits.
The options list includes
Roll cage and toyo r888s £700
Titanium exhaust £2200
and various 3 for paint finishes.
Its still a family hatch back.
