    hi guys!

    hi there people.

just signed up as im after either a mk1 punto sporting or a mk3 polo GT and wanted to gain as much info on the former as possible.

so, why should i get a punto? lol

errr a little info about me, im 20, go to uni... used to have a mk2 golf GTi but sold that because money is a bit tight at the mo.

ill stick up a wanted post too as i think im swaying towards the punto anyway as they look more comfortable and have more mod-cons (but i do like performance so are they fast enough). i know it wont be that quick but for my current situation i mean, perhaps are they fun to drive would be a better question?

    cheers, lee

The 1.2 16v has plenty of poke for the size of the engine and doesnt cost you the earth either.

    What mk2 gti did you have ? 8v or 16v ?

    Get the polo

    only joking!

What sporting are ou after? the 1.6 8v or 1.2 16v?

can pick up a nice sporting for around the 1k mark now so the money issue shuldnt be a problem.
