    Plastic fuel tanks do melt !!!

    Was reading a project thread on another forum and this was in it:

    Not to get people worried as this was done while wealding was in progress... lol opps

    plastic tanks are made from material which by its nature give off fumes to extinguish fire,or at least fumes which remove the oxygen from the air

    I was about to say thats clearly not from an exhaust as its on the top lol.

    the last day, i just fitted the metal one i bought from dean, but the next time i think ill go plastic
