    Any HD TV geeks out there?!

    Yo peeps, after a harrowing split with my gf, I'm back with the 'rents (Lucky me!) and need a 26" HD TV to run my PS3 off in my minute bed room

    Ideally want to spend £300, anyone recommend something decent? Will I get 1080p for that money? And is that the be all and end all? Not clued up with HD TV's at all really, what should I be looking for?

    I have this
    [ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-LE26R74BDX-Ready-LCD-Freeview/dp/B000F4TC32/ref=pd_sim_ce_1"]Samsung LE26R74BDX - 26'' HD Ready LCD TV - With: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo[/ame]

    Xbox 360 looks brilliant on it. Not sure why the price is so high for it on Amazon as I paid £400 over a year ago. Definately recommend it if you can find one in your budget.

    Do you really need 1080p?

    PS3 is only 720p so no point surely?

    You can properly get it cheaper somewhere on the net.

    PS3 spits out 1080p all day long, just wanna know if I'll be able to tell the difference between 720 & 1080, I'm used to SD TV's so any HD unit is gonna be an improvement for me.

    isn't 1080p designed for 32inch plus sized tv's?
    If i'm right, then if you go for 32 or under then surely 1080i should be plenty enough

    1080p is quite new to 32". When i got my 32" last year around summer time 1080p wasn't available for 32" but is now. I would love to trade in my 32" 720p and get my 1080p But i have been told you wont really notice a lot of difference on such a small screen.

    Are you sure? I read somewhere it's only 720p but can be upscaled to 1080i.
