    Pic: Smoothe Plastic Bumper

    Been offerred a Widemouthed Black plastic bumper for £20, Any1 got a pic of what they look like colourcoded and possibly with the bump strip smoothed.

    Also How hard is it to sand out the plastic texture?

    The black plastic bumpers dont have the bump strip on.

    they just have a small ridges in where they normally are hence them being the best to use for smoothing!

    i cant help you with sanding the texture down but would it be easier to smooth over the top and sand that flat?

    Will look the same as anyother smoothed widemouth bumper.

    So the finish will look exactly the same as anyother colour coded bumper? No need to laquer?

    You need to lacquer it...

    Unless it's red single stage. Even then most places will lay some clearcoat on these days.

    Ok cheers, Been having no luck finding any widemouthed colour coded bumpers round ere, so think i may go for it.. Foglights included too . Any1 know if there easy to wire up to non fog light models?

    there was a thread on here yesterday saying someone found wiring for foglights on a non foglight model, and it was suggested that fiat make the same looms for all models to save costs, so you might have the wiring for it already, check inside the wings.
