Thread: Bank holiday weekend meet

    got this off the castle combe website what day do you want to meet?

    theres a track day on friday 22nd and this on monday:-

    A Plant LUX Traffic Controls Sportscar Raceday - Monday, August 25, 2008

    A sportscar spectacular, featuring races for Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Morgan and the Sports Racing & GT Challenge. With a mouthwatering array of sportcars in the paddock and on track this is an event not to be missed. Round 7 of the Castle Combe Championships for FF1600, Saloons and Special GT’s complete the line up.
    Practice is from 08.40 with racing beginning at 13.00.
    Admission costs £15 for adults and £7.50 for OAP’s with accompanied children free. Paddock transfer is free for all advanced bookings and £2.50 on the day.

    ive personally got no problem with it, anything to do with cars and tracks and im happy lol, any other opinions? anybody working the monday or not wanna pay the £15 entry?

    if the suns out could be a god day out sat on the grass bank at Quarry, can see quite a lot of the track too

    Monday sounds like a good day out and with some top cars racing Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin etc it also says special gt class cant be that special no punto "gt" racing!
    would be the weekend i back from my hols and on the day of my daughters birth-day but i can come for a good few hours i'm sure.

    The Special GT class is awesome,although a few duds, amazing racing at the front between real GT cars and some saloons, I.E a amazing 4wd escort.

    sounds like the best plan to me, could maybe PM a couple of the wales members aswell, as the meets in wales never happen and a few may be willing to come
