Its everything but boring imo, its a mechanical masterpiece
Still rather have an R33 GTR. In white. I think the jap cars had their heyday in the 90's with the Skylines, Supras, RX7, Integras etc. Everything since has been disappointing for me (RX-8, new GTR etc). I'm not disagreeing that the GTR is tehcnically brilliant, but there's just something about it that almost makes it...boring.

Yeah you've been listening to Clarkson too much mate, nothing boring about a GTROriginally Posted by MasterAuron
Of course there is, electronically speed limited, cant race it ona track without voiding your warrenty, cant do this cant do that...
I dont understand the aurora around them like with the other skylines, went out in a 500hp GTR Vspec2 the other week, 4wd burnouts, full blown launches... was a laugh for sure but once it was going it did feel really boring IMO, my mates Evo8 is alot more fun, my mates saxo is more entertaining to me TBH.
Plus, its just had its time clothed by the Corvette ZR1 :0
I'd rather be bored in a Skyline (I'd need to check the definition of boredom first though) than in your mates 'entertaining' Saxo. Entertaining and Saxo, can't believe they're in the same sentence.Originally Posted by Superman

I dont recommend it you miserable Tartbag, however stepping from a 500hp R32 GT-r V-specII to a 130hp track oriantated* Saxo, i know which was the most fun, and even for more then 60seconds. Minutes later the 'god' like Datsun came back in a cloud of its own smoke after snapping the propshaft on turbo number2, FAIL.

The ZR-1 did it on OTR form, so as you'd buy one.
It looked great at the motorshop the other day.
Why is it not called the skyline?
Whole new car Jon.
Honda said they wouldnt call the CBR1000RR a firblade as it was a whole new bike up comapared to the 954cc previosu model, they gave in though, Datsun didnt.
