    wow... I am a Technnician. I have just moved to be* internet.
    Dude.
    14mb download and 1.7mb upload.
    I do get 1.45mb/second on downloading files. and at £22.99 a month... its brill....

    be, thats the compmay name, but o2 bought out be, so o2 and be are the same, although o2 are cheaper!

    Cat, You will get charged a connection fee from BT (£120 i believe) it used to be that you would be charged if there was no BT Line plant(i.e wires excisting to the property) but now a days its a flat connection fee weather the wiring is there or not.

    I looked on line and it said if we needed to connect it was 125 but if bt had already put a line in re connection was free. All the boxes in the flat and the phone socket say bt on them. Was what i read true tony?

    I got mine with Sky and havnt had any probs with it so far and is relatively quick and for a fiver a month ontop of my TV package its a bargain IMO.

    Same as above, pay £31 a month for my sky tv and broadband and works a treat, never had a problem

    Bt line going in next week then o2 is on the way. yay, no more internet on the phone.

    I got here using a searcher, i been having problems with my wifi forseveral days and its getting worst every day. I think everytime i do a speed test my speed decreases. may it be possible? i tried opening some ports as a friend told me, can somebody help me?
