open up the ECu and next to the red block is i believe a 24 pin chip
if its sebd it will say powerontheroad SEB2 for instance

well it wont be any quicker unless the boost has been turned up. if you arnt sure and you want to turn the boost up double check for the chip as running it lean without a chip will not do your engine any favours

Supposedly running a seb0 chip approx 160-170bhp but no way is it even close!

sound like it has been done properly but cant be sure these days. what does the boost gauge read on full boost?

usually with foot down doesnt register more then just over half way on the boost guage id say

thats only standard boost, you need a bleed valve or dawes device to get that upped. there is a club discount from dawes himself where you can get the dawes boost controller with a dual stage solenoid all for £44. very good product.
