    My busy weekend!

    Here was my route!

    Nottingham - Margate - Nottingham - Edinburgh - Nottingham - Leeds! Jebus!

Tom****ingTom took the long route on both outward legs, DanDan's own route back was far quicker both times lol.

Got home from work saturday night about 10pm, went to bed and left home for Margate with Ben about 11am Sunday in the Grape, with Engine crane, jack and tools in the back. Got to Margate at about 4:30pm after a few stops for food and bladder relief, TOMTOM took us the long way around the M25, Ben adament TOMTOM doesnt lie

Some snaps from the way down

    reflection on a milk tanker

    2Cans' handwriting

    306 racecar

nearside front was down to 14psi

anyway we travelled down to see this

While Ben watched i got the gunns out and ripped the scuttle off!

Finally got Ben to do some work!

Pretty much the same as a GT lump

Will it fit? note: Grape riding high!

    tiny gearbox!

Crane and engine slotted in the Grapes enoumous cargo hold!

Fully loaded minus Maverick and Goose!

the Grape would rack up its 40k mile on the journey home.

the Grape @ Dreamland - Margate! Notice the aerodynamic aids on the front wings

    Dartford tunnel

we just made it in before some fuel tankers were escorted through, we hoped nothing 'Daylight' style would happen :s

stopped by Langar on the way back to weigh it as we were curious to what weight the 899cc engien was slogging.

Yes thats 1160Kilos, the Grape is 700kilo usually!!!

Anyway, that was my first leg. Got back to Notts very late, stopped by Teebag's to drop my crane off about 1am, chilled with a can of Dr Pepper and then got home at 2:30am, quick wash, got changed packed my **** up and Titch picked me up at 3am to head for Scotland...

Titch was having a low milage VTS engine installed in his Saxo, the tarmac rally setup suspension was uber harsh the entire way, had to stop plenty of times to stretch the old legs and make sure the arse hadnt crumbled away!

On the way Scotland was green

Saw a tank, on a truck... Also saw a diesal locomotive, and a steam engine tender, some big **** been trucked about!

at 7am the mountain dew was decending the mountains, looked awsome!

'The UK's quickest AX' this is Tam's who sold Titch the valver engine, is 250hp - 650kilo - ish.

bit of a shed TBH lol

Heres a video of it, its his mates Evo at the end he said is 450 odd HP

    they are french enthusiasts...

    only Mi ive ever seen

So anyway, left the car with them at 10am, by 2pm the 8valve was out and the 16valve in and running, picked it up at 5pm after a abit of shopping in Edinburgh.

saw Willian Wallice chop up a chinaman

Tam's breakers yard, if your into French then its abit of a goldmine... and i finally learnt how torsion bar suspension worked from a 106 beam on the floor lol

all sorted, will look good once its had a spruce, Titch had a good deal and it now goes well, is quieter weirdly enough. Jouney back was more fun then going up there.

Got home at 4pm, got the 1600 engine out the Grape then left for work at 5pm back to Leeds,
    ****ed!

    Did I?

I know i passed Wilky's and alot of folks, but seriously was rushing everywhere. Did almost 80mph all the way to Margate in the Grape and it still took 5.5hours lol.

Cant believe the bottom of the M1 is still not finished it was like that when i bought the Xploit from Lee!!!

Every Motorway or A road i went on had 50mph-specs setups and mass roadworks, its ****ing rediculous lol.
