Who if anyone has 17s on there mk1 punto?Have you had any problems with them catching etc.Thinking of putting some on Sarah's cab with a 40mm drop.

Ive got 17's on mine, and the turning circle isnt very good(not sure if thats with all GTs) they rub on full lock.
I had 17s on my Sporting lowered 60mm. I would not recommend it. I think they look too big and it makes the ride very uncomfortable.
16s would be a better option both for looks and ride.

i ran a set of 17s on my cab with a 60mm drop and had no problems mate.
17 inch with -60 / -40 no problem if you roll the rear arches and take of a little buit of the plastic from the bumpercorner
In the front no problem ... my experience with the 17 inch fealess Wheels i had on both my previous 60SX and my GT
