    That a Wira? or more recent?
    My first car was a proton...before they got Lotus and even back then it was a great car!!! So far we've had 4 protons amongst the family from hatchback to family saloons.

    A little update from the land of Proton.

    Finally finished turboing and mapping the engine. And we have 211bhp
    To put this in perspective an 'R' produces 109? and weighs 400kg more.

    For those with a turbo lag problem, read the graphs and weep



    This one is a before and after the final map.
    After was decat, fitted with a vortrex and unichipped.

    Thanks, I used something called a vortex exhaust to keep the gasses flowing so I could stay with a small turbo. Seems to have done the job. Nice to hear from some familar names.

    Nice figures Dave, any indication as to if the vortex exhaust works? Its one of those things that could be hyped up a bit, but who knows?

    Maybe worth trying on a GT.
