it used to be 3 years for active points, but insurance need to know for 5 years
i have 21, obviosly not all active
I thought all points took five years to clear, i hope not though bud. Mine clear next july for being banned had to wait 5 years.

4 years from date of conviction for reckless/dangerous driving and offences resulting in disqualification

4 years from the date of offence in all other cases

so now they have been cancelled is that effectively 0 points?
yeah but for some reason they stay on till the fourth year.
Someone told me just apply for a new license, say if your moving house or whatever and it comes back with no points 8)
