Gotta agree with that.

Its a beemer, not a mini. Also, imo, not worth getting unless its the 'S' or above, or, go the other way and go for the super efficient diesel. Either way, they're massively overpriced.

someone correct me if im wrong, dont think i am though but actually the petrol engines are made in brazil by a company owned by Chrysler, and the diesel engines are from the peugeot/ford joint venture.

you probably have never driven the new Mini / Citreon / Chrysler / ford whatever you want to call it, i didnt like them untill i drove one, and to be honest they are very good car's.

as for the S, a Lohen tuned cooper is as quick as a standard S if not quicker as its NA therefore no lag for the SC however this costs about 4k

you don't get lag with a supercharger - as it's crank driven, you only get lag with a turbo.

Little update,

Now use a jcw airbox system, had a remap and got some new GP wheels

My friend has a completely standard MCS (sc'd one) and it RR'd at 190.4 bhp standard!
