Well as most of you know My poor GT died on me last month so it's been broken for parts.
So it was time to get a new car but i didnt want anything that was going to cost me alot of money to run because i do alot of miles these days.
I wanted something small, simple with low fuel costs and cheap insurance so ive got myself a mini cooper
Its a great little car to drive and handles so well, You cant compare it to the GT what so ever. Its not as quick as you can guess but its still got some grunt behind it with a 1.6 engine (group 8)
I got it from a garage local to me, 1 owner 40k full bmw history and a nice warranty
And yes its staying standard
Few little bits like clear side reps i have got but havnt got round to putting them on yet.
I will only use genuine Parts and will use bmw to keep up the history, I have a good friend that works for them so price's will be a little lower than if i was to walk in
Its got the S styling pack, 17" wheels (with run flats) filler cap, spoiler and other little bits
I have put in a dvd/gps/ipod touch screen player with a iso lock so no cutting like in the GT
Anyways heres a few snaps, hope you like it and im sure the mirrors are gonna be like marmite but they are fun
And a super 7 will be for the weekends

Well mate il be honest with you and say I really like it, I know what you mean about getting into a modern car that hasnt been f*cked about with and the difference is a sheer delight to drive.
It may not be as fast as the GT but i bet it would stick with one on the twisties, I hate the mirrors they are trully gashfull but its your ride eh.

Lovely lil car, always had a soft spot for them as i learnt to drive in one, like driving a lil go cart!
Really really clean in the flesh and totally agree with vern, so nice getting in a modern car as apposed to the tin can with a turbo punto!

Mate from school had one of these but was in black with Dotz alloys,smoked rear lights and im sure it was much lower, very tidy cars though.
