Any one have any idea's how much a new screen for an Acer laptop would cost or would it just be cheaper to buy a new laptop?
Hard to fit one yourself, how much was the laptop itself? If you dont have the self knowlege to do it yourself, dont bother to do it. if its a 200 quid lap then buy a new lap for eg. ever thought abut buying a moniter for it? ive done that for my home-base setup

you would be surprised how easy a laptop is to work on, with no experiance what so ever i changed the motherboard on my old laptop, a screen would be piss easy.
I have no idea! but it worked when i gave it to him i got it back and now its worse then before! he reckons its better but its deffo not!
Have u looked on E bay. There might be spares and repair.
TBH i dont particulary trust Ebay...not with stuff for that i think if anything i'd rather take it to a shop or just buy a new one!
My lap top broke and i bought the part i needed from a seller on there that also had a shop.
Cost me £21 del if i were to buy it from HP it was over £70.
I asked in computer shop £120 to fit it!!
Surely it is worth a look??
