bonnet release

On another GT i need to jump start the bonnet cable is stretched and i cant pull it any further so its locked down.

How can i open the bonnet without damaging stuff?

unhook the cable and pull it will some pliers

Try to open the bonnet and wiggle it around a bit. Then pull the latch again, then wiggle, then latch and eventually it might open

You can open the bonnet from the underneath if you can jack it up and get it on axle stands. Had to do it with ours when the bonnet cable came adrift.

Hi Ben,
I also have problems opening the bonnet of my Punto; grateful if you would PM instructions to release the bonnet. The cable has come loose.
