    Talking Removal/Refit Engine

how long would this take to remove a small 1.2 multi injection and replace
with likewise & time for replacing with gt engine.......

i know these are been covered but i want a estimate time in hours from someone who has done this before as im thinking of renting a engine hoist for a weekend to do the job. Not to include all the refitting and modifying of looms/wiring

just to remove and put in an engine (basically the job i need the hoist for) ....

want to make sure i give myself plenty of time as learning as i go

    Depends on experience obviously.

Same engine it can all be done within a day.

Conversion, I still imagine you could have blocks changed in 2 days tops.

well just took my head off in bout hour and ive been doing engine strip and rebuild in college although i havent took an engine from a car from scratch....but i have a guide telling me everything that needs disconnecting etc etc.....

when i undo the engine mounts does the engine just drop and is it easy to line back up if using crane...

I find fitting the engine back in a real drama in comparison to taking it out.

3hours to get a GT engine on the floor, through the bottom of the car. 5-6hours putting one back in.
