    Mop and a polish....

My cars going in to be mopped and valeted in the next two weeks,
been chatting to my mates brother tonight who works at Fiat Worcestor. apparenty their new valet guy is the nuts....gonna get me in for mates rates.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the results, hopefully bring out all the unsightly marks from bushes I scrapped along down all the country lanes by mine.

anyone had their car mopped here?....I know its a common thing but I never spoken to anyone on heres who had it done?.
    Jon

cutting away the old paint on top with a rubbing compound with a big heavy duty polisher to get to the new paint.

Its just an aggressive grade polish then effectively, as that's what any polish does.

Essentially yes, but a lot more effective obviously that using a cloth by hand!

but mopping is really bad for your car if done wrong, will leave horrible holograms and may even make swirls worse

best to get it done properly with a rotary and a nice cutting polish and pad combo
