    ARG Slow LapTop. Advice please.

Please can someone help me before i throw the ****ing thing down the high street.

Basically, it is so ****ing slow. You can be typing & then it will just freeze. I then get a sort of white screen & it will say "firefox not responding" of i get "unresponsive script".
It can do it when i click onn a tab, it will take an age to load.
It is seriously pissing me off, i want it to be instant. It is a new lap top, or is the problem FireFox.
It has taken me 15 mins to write this post becase it freezes that much.

Reinstall everything from the ground up. Only way really. Then keep all the torrent stuff off the PC. Also don't fill up the hard disk either.

Sounds to me like you have spyware.

Can you no try a system restore? Always works for me.

Cut all your music onto 2 copies and then look at getting either a big hard drive you can hook up to your router or something you can just plug into the USB port.
