I'll explain........i d/l an album with bitlord then put files into I Tunes or Real Player, tick the audio box as opposed to the mp3 box. On my old lap top it worked fine and i could listen to them on my home stereo, but now using my new lap top they wont play on home stereo, they will only play on mp3 playback stereo in the shop.

Putting that cd back into the pc, Go to the cd drive either by the prompt it issues when putting a cd in or go via My computer - Right click cd drive then explore.

Then right click a file , go down to properties from there you should be able to see the format, i believe a normal cd player file format is .CDA?

I can help you further on MSN if you are on.

Have you changed cd brands? Maybe itunes isnt finalising it correct on completion of burning. Try a different brand of cd also.

I had some cheap ones from tesco once and it wouldent detect them or the cd drive would write to them but nothing would read the disc.

Try using nero tho first to see if it is the discs.

Maybe your cd drive dosent like them in your laptop. Going back to the problem i had before, i tried the discs on another pc and they worked fine.

    Just the equipment being picky.
