When i download music, i put it in I Tunes and burn it, it wont play on my stereo. But it will play on my stereo that plays MP3's.
On my old lap top i went through the same procedure and it worked fine.
I have gone to burning preferences and made sure the audio box is checked rather than the MP3 box, but they are still being burnt as MP3's.
Any advise please.

use ur ipod but download ephpod! i use that, simple and sweet! no messing around!
i use iTunes and theres nothing wrong :S
although i use windows media to rip files of a cd
then grab the songs from the folder using itunes and it converts it over.

Used Media Player and the ****ing CD's still wont play, will only play on MP3 Stereo. GRRRR
On your laptop, download nero and then use Nero Burning Rom and select Audio cd.
See if that way works. I always use nero and have not had any problems
What is it actually saying on your windows media/itunes etc.
Does it say missing codec?
Do you drivers installed on your pc to play music?
They are burning fine but for some reason they wont play on my stereo, only on my mp3 compatable stereo.
I have never had this prob before.
I will try Nero nd give that a try.

Just to clear something up, are you trying to burn an Audio cd or an MP3 cd?
