i have sold mini bonnets that are fixed the same way for over 15 years, and so have many other companies
i have never heard of one being stolen!!
and you can easily carry a mini bonnet compared to a punto one!

it was a great van that, i had a 18 year old apprentice at the time, when he passed his test he was given that as a works vehicle as on the insurance policy he was insured upto 1500cc non turbo
it was a 1380 race spec

his foreman had a metro van with a turbo kit on painted the same and the fibreglass shop foreman had a metro van painted the same but my other campany name on
the mini van blew them away
