    Race Spec Type k Bonnet

Ok, i have a 'Race Spec' Type k Grp Bonnet
This is made from fibreglass and has corematt reinforcement but no inner frame - same as we use on our BMW's etc
This means the bonnet has to be held on with pins and not the originl hinges and catch, but it also means it weighs next to nothing!!

    £100.00 plus del and vat

ok, well if its not sold by tuesday (pay day) i will proberly have it. But if someone offers before that then sell to them. Also how would i fit this? i understand about the bonnet pins on the fron, but how would i fix at the back if there are no hinges?

4 pins, 2 at the front, 2 at the rear

thats shows 6 pins, because at 150mph they tend to lift a little

ok. well the only problem i can see with that is, that everytime i want to lift the bonnet im going to have to remove the whole bonnet? would there be a way for me to fasten a set of hinges onto the back of the bonnet?

    correct - hence race spec

you could bond an angle bracket into it and nut and bolt it to the hinges
