    dos games

    trying to run my old dos games

    using dosbox 0.72

    specifically a game called fragile alligence

    anyway ive loaded it all up but when starting the game it dosnt recognoise my cd drive even though ive mounted it properly and its all working fine

    when startingthe game it just asks for cd over and over.

    anybody any experience in this.

    i find it alot with sierra games but no others
    i never can get sierra games to work

    i can run this game on the pc in windows but get garbeled graphics. and i dont know how to fix that. thats why ive gone to the dos emulator.

    its all working fine but wont find the cd. but in dos it will find it its just the game

    download it on bit torrent and the relevent bit torrent players i did that with transport tycoon, which is easily 15yrs old and playe din msdos

    what are you talking about here.

    i have the game. i need to get it to work.

    transport tycoon works on windows. doesnt need full dos. i now cos i have that as well.

    hmm i had a cd version that would run in a dos window on xp.

    anyway back to this game i wanna get it going so much.

    Dosbox doesn't support CD's as you found out
    You could try coping the contents of the cd to a folder somewhere and try mounting that in dosbox
    Not used dosbox for ages though....so can't really remember the commands...hope that helps ya though
