as for looking into price further let me keep that as a rough figure for now cheers
    It's less...

6-pot pistons are 1.62"/1.12"/1.12", making an increase of 13.6% over the GT 54mm piston caliper.

4-pot pistons are 1.62"/1.75" making an increase of 25.8% over the GT 54mm piston caliper.

It's not quite that simple - the bigger the pistons are the softer the pedal (all other factors being equal), basic physics/engineering sadly.

However the T30x is stiffer than the T20 (at a price), and the T60x is also the stiffer bridge type but with the extra pistons you get the force spread even more evenly over the pad.

The thing to remember is that the "base" kits (284mm T20) are such a leap in performance over the Fiat stuff that once most people own them they simply don't want/need "more".

We're all about "bang for your buck" (value), and won't try and sell people stuff that's over the top - that wouldn't be cricket! :-)

If the 6 pot pistons were larger than the 4 pot pistons, do you realise how mahoosive the caliper would need to be?

Also the pressure is applied more evenly, meaning better stopping power

    Edit

    ^^^ what keri said lol
