Most insurance companies charge for any modification in *some* way. Its illegal to not tell them anything.

no flux dont, all my mods didnt add to the premium, i phone and add stuff all the time to save any embarrasing situations, only thing that did was exhuast = £23.00

We don't charge for mod's unless they affect the BHP of the car.
But do always let us know of changes to the car so we can keep the policy up to date for you.

well it seems they do, they just charged £150+ for a set of wheels and rear tinted windows.

When i added wheels to my old GT flux didnt change the premium and didnt charge an admin fee.

You get around this by not paying out for a replacement though. e.g. I have 2k of wheels. You don't increase the policy, though if they get stolen you don't replace them.
