Probably best not to say that sort of thing on a public forum charlie. If you put them on,insure them. It will be an excuse for the insurer not to pay out.

My advice is if you get something that is not standard factory option to your car it must be declared.
The claims assesors know what they are looking for and if they find something that is not declared they can void your insurance. They also have the internet now so could look through forums such as this if they are unsure on if someone claims they thought they were standard.
As for the cost of it on your insurance if you're with us i would need your client ref.

I know when I got GT alloys for my 55sx my company ( can't remember who) didn't mind as it was a fiat item not aftermarket.
Just ring your insurer and ask.
i would ring them up, but Ecar is crappy and purely internet based! anc i dont think ican switch after paying annual lol il try to find a number
