    writing a cd

im trying to write a cd with some mp3 tunes on it but it wont recognise the blank cd for no reason. i have tried nero and the windows one but no luck!

It just wont read that the blank dic is in the computer.

I have tested a cd with a game on it and it read it!

    any ideas?

usually this means that the disk is faulty,if the drive will read/write other disks you can safely I think see that this is the case.Have you tried said disk in another writer just to prove the point ?

It could be to do with your firmware on your computer. I had a whole batch of discs 50 and it wouldnt read them, tried them in a friends computer and they worked.
