This is how my evening ended last nite, the driveshaft that i changed 2 weeks ago,had snapped just before the hub. This is the shaft that cheshire gt sold me.

well not local,but only about 30 minutes away.I went to collect the driveshaft from his house.
£230 for a brand new one from fiat

Lol,i was only pulling off from a roundabout, and it just clicked,then wudnt move.
Speedo wud go up,but i wasnt going anywhere. Rang superdan, and we thought it was gearbox, then decided to jack it up, and noticed the driveshaft turning round in the cv boot!
First recovery truck turned up,was too high,as the gt was too low to go on,then had to wait for 2 hours to get a special low loader truck with a flat plate that slides down.
Mite just have to buy a new driveshaft
There was a set on ebay last week, £80 BIN I think.

cr#p night! in all fairness cheshire wasnt to know it was soon to snap, impossible to tell. dont get 1 from fiat, try allpart euro carparts and places like that. much cheaper.
