    Revealed

This is where ive got to now after it been through a few stages. Dunno wether to leave it like this or spray it in matt super black, the gray matchs the dash sorta.....

    first coat

    what i used

    dried

    With bits on

Got to but some gauge mounts on the Apexi to bolt it down and line behind it with some neopren or black foarm.

    What you think?

Dunno if i should do it matt black

some progress shots from another forum for you folks

206 DIN only just fits the gap

and Apexi is only 3/4 DIN size....

so turned it around and copped it up

chopped the top vents up and stuck them in the sides to help the P38 when slopping it on.

    P38'd

obviously needs tidying up aswell as maybe some more filler to bring it out so i can then sand in the shape im after.

LOL, was a very close fit down the sides...

    just needs 'finishing'

    some more

Well I started this a few months ago when i bought the Greddy and a few other bits. ANd got it in but it needs a final sand down and spraying.

How it started minus the cents and heater box guides.

This was the original idea but the gauges i had bougth are very deep and wouldnt fit in the gap

So this became the new plan, Greddy and HKS turbo time in the top, gauges in the bottom vents

    Gauges just for show

    Gauges in Nomad A-pillar mount

Centre gauges in, plus GReddy EBC

    showing the Greddy's position

Ive now installed a mini loom down and around the engine bay down to the front of the engine so i can wire in the oil senders, water temp can be taken direct from the exsisting OEM sender in the cylinder head (so im told)

Ive now removed the GReddy EBC as it just wasnt doing what i wanted it to do, bought myself an Apexi AVC-r ....

Funnily enough the Apexi and Greddy control valves 'look' eactly the same.... (cheap **** lol)

Control valve and boost sensor in place

just positioning... on its little metal stand for now.

Dont worry thats the protective film still on the gauges

    Its alive!!!

I only had the car running a few days with the Apexi before i took it off the road and it appears im having some niggles with the AVCr, its not picking up throttle position, or revs... so will have to sort that another time.

Tax ran out end of jan and im waiting on my cusotmtubular manifold so the old dear is laid up in my garage awaiting new manifold aswell as a few other goodies... updates soon :

    I would spray it personally.

Looks good, but I wouldnt do it myself as I like the vents there.

tbh i ran out of patience getting it down to smooth finish, building layers up in filler then sanding them down again...

So when i sprayed it with paint...

Didnt come out to great, so i bought the fleck stone, then intended to spray it with matt black but abit undecided now.
