    Sump question

Has anyone tried changing the sump on a FIRE without removing the downpipe?

I finally got the time to replace the leaking sump but never considered the downpipe (dumb I know )

Not removed the flyhweel cover yet either.

Nope...not fitted it yet.....but I plan to while the bits are all coming off Just gotta get the gasket between the downpipe and the cat.

Cheers for that Steve...I reckon the bar you mean is the cover plate from the lower flywheel housing...3 bolts/nuts...look about 16/17mm at a guess.
I'll have a proper look tomorrow afternoon after work....only had a brief look after work this evening.
