thnaks for teh detective work lads well i r ekon its has been propa wacked up a curb at some point because teh wing on n/s is blue but teh suspension damage is on teh o/s adn the o/s suspension leg is propa fooked teh wheel leans in bigtime adn sits very close to teh inner arch and looks to be pushed back inside teh arch...no obdvious damage to the underside but havent had it on ramps yet...it seems to hold boost but not spool up very well at all or does it seem to be quik at all..im puttin this down to teh turbo bein shot as there is oil in the bost pipes i haev checked adn all over my dumpvalve.... smokes on start up then disapears.. im desperate for teh top boost hose that comes over the head as mine is split in several places nd i can hear a whistle wen winding up which sounds like a leak so yea help ...plus intersted to find out wot is involved in either the 16v or 20v turbo coupe turbo conversion im a x metro hollic so im used to messin with engine swaps nd teh like but any help appreciated thanks once again
If your main boost pipe is split that will be why it doesnt spool up as you are loosing pressure.
The smoke on start up is normal if it is grey, its just condensation.
wots goin on with my oil in teh pipes any 1 got a clue??? cheers lads ( and any ladies)
that could be caused by the turbo, you say its not pulling right, so i would assume the turbo is on its way out, best thing to do is take off the pipe under the air filter going to the turbo, undo it and reach inside the turbo to see if the shaft / blades have any in and out play to them, if so, then the oil seals have gone and need replacing or a whole new turbo
