I thought these were relativly fast? Had a little dabble with one today nothing stupid and no silly speeds, he came right up my ass and tried undertaking me so I just floored it and just kept pulling away from him. I have zaust decat and piperx, sound about right or not?
I got told that they had the same engine as the saxo vts is this true or not and are they the same bhp and torque?

A friend had one that was pretty quick, just sort of got on with it and never had off days like the gt/uno(other turbo'd motors maybe). I think they have to be revved quite hard.
I was in Tim 4.1 gt3 when we blew away a stripped gti, the guy was revving the balls off it, but Tim's get was shifting that day!

vts engine, just a little lighter than the paxo iirc.
very very revvy engines.
The VTS has a longer 2nd gear for a better 0-60 on paper!
I was millimetres away from getting one of these before I got the Gt,
I even test drove one and they are really fun....But then obviously I came to my senses! I do have a soft spot for the the little frenchies tho!

Got battered on the M66 by one of these when I had my GT - he was two-up as well. Came up close behind and then pulled to the left and accelerated up the slip road like I was stuck in 3rd. Had my 17's on then (which probably didn't help).
Followed one particular (fettled) example on a CS meet. Rapid little bastard that weighted sod all.
Got a lot of respect for them. Just wouldn't like to be at the wheel if I had a crash in one though....
