hey im Ash (bbracer16valver on so many Renault forums) nice forum you have here been looking through it today as my mate has just got a mk1 3dr 1.2 sporting and he's after a few bits/ideas
great lil car (well beter than the corsa C) but handles like a tescos trolley
so mainly after some cheap lowering springs 1st (anyone? i cant seem to post in the for sale section so i sent some PMs but with a zero rating i doubt they will reply)
any other cheap mods to do? it needs some better stoppers really.. is there another car for the kit to come off (maybe 20v turbo??)
the last thing is.. it says 16v but from what i can make out it has one cam.. so are they SHOC 16v??
were in the south west/ gloucestershire region so any events/meets i see we might make a good effort to attend

hi mate, you just so you know you wont be able to post in the forsale section or send pms till you get mor than 50posts. this is to stop the problem we were having with people signing up to rip members off.
if you need anything post it publicly and see how you get on.
anyway, gmax kits are cheap and seem to work well, get him to spend money on tyres, this is th first real step.
deck 60mm on some good rubber and it will be much better.
