Thats weird, mugs of coffee still sitting on the tables. Pretty cool though!
I think stuff like this is really interesting. As you will all know the Longbridge plant dissapeared into liquidation which in my book is a sad moment for British ca industry especially when new exciting cars like the MG were avalible (eg MG ZR 160)
Anyway enjoy
56k beware (If anyone still has it! )

I've seen these before some good pics here. The matey who took these pics also posts over at the drum n bass forum www.breakbeat.co.uk
Does anyone know what is happening at the Langbridge plant? I think some maybe most has is being demolished. What will happen to all the stock? As you can see theres loads of it!
I heard the MG name had been bought by a Japanise Company
i live right by it. and see it every day.
its much bigger than you think, its not just on one site. the entire plant is spread across the whole longbridge area.
the rover production line areas of the plant have already been demolished but the MG side of things are still there.
ive watched it slowly get torn down and its quite sad as a lot of my family used to work there and its just been one of those things thats part of the area. someone always new someone who worked at rover.
in some of the units there are already tonnes of pallets with brand new engines, and body parts already there.
those pictures just show what state bmw left the company in. shocking. fcuking germans.

28dayslater is a good forum for urbex, anyone else do it, I have been exploring round whittingham hospital near preston a few times. Its an abondoned mental hospital which closed about 15 years ago, its massive. You get a buzz by going there, trying to avoid security yet trying to avoid the holes in the floor at the same time.

That hospital is about 15 min from me and I've been to it
Really interesting and spooky
It is, I love it. Shame the hospitals getting knocked down next year. Security are getting stricter now though as theres to many cnuts going to abuse it.

I feel that the company seems very old and very dated from those picture which shows BMW put little money into the plant
What is the future of the MG section?????
Just spent a good few hours looking at all the threads about the plant.....Cant understand why all the computers, lights are still on and paint vats still prept ready to go. Also I didnt know that there were tunnels under the plant

Very interesting thread and site that!
Did you see the photos of the mg TF, with massive arches etc? Looked like some sort of prototype in the making!
