I still miss my GT - warts and all. One of my favourite memories of it was coming back from Majorca on a two week holiday back in '98. A relative had allowed me to leave it in their garage for the fortnight and I went picking it up early on the Saturday afternoon.
It was a sunny day and I purposely took a long-way home route. It felt great. Sunroof open, windows down and just driving the car in the decent weather.
Nothing special. No new top speed, no new quarter mile sprint, no new mods. Just realisation of being back in a decent car after being absent from it for two weeks. I'll never forget that...
