perfect 182 then.
i want lol.
Yep - sure does. The cup suspension (which came on cars with the anthracite alloys as standard) was something daft like a £150 option when I ordered the car.Originally Posted by GTste
No brainer really. The non-cup'd suspension 182 look too high at the front, imo.

I can honestly say if i didint need to concentrate while driving the GT id fall asleep at the wheel, i used to in my 1.1 and often have to stop driving my folks mondeo, and my works Voyager is the worst been an Auto, only coming back from Brighton i was feelign sleepy in the GT. I cant bash the 182s, its top hot hatch isnt it after all... But the V6 is abit like the punto-grale one-off a silly car that only just pulls it off as a road car.
I think what they were trying with the V6 was to get a car that harked-back to the days of the old R5 Turbo-2, etc.
I think in many subtle ways, they've managed it. Apart from being a whopping £30k from new, their rarity and eye-appeal is something to witness. You'd get many a chav giving you verbal in a Porsche or soft-top Merc at the lights, but I've never heard anything bad when in the V6. We even had four blokes in an Evo 8 giving us the thumbs up, the day we bought it!
However, the one way to insult V6 owners is to remind them that the origins of their engine are transplanted from the Laguna V6.....

*Did you know... The engine in your Clio V6 gets its origins form the Laguna V6*

You cant compare a fwd front engine 190bhp punto, against a rwd rear engine 255bhp super car...now that’s just silly, you naughty boy.
