Punto in Newport.........

Guys i noticed a silvery Punto in a car park in newport, and it is a very nice looking car, but thought i'd point out to the owner (who seems to be a member on here due to the sticker in his window) That the Grooved front brakes on his car appear to have been fitted on the wrong wheels / opposite sides, therefore decreasing the braking power, due to the build up of heat and brake gases not being allowed to escape.

The grooves on these discs, should move from the centre of the disk outwards,
As shown here, when going forwards, these disks will spin clockwise, so that the first point of the groove to touch the brake disc, is near the bell of the disk and then the further the rotation, the groove will move along, then finally the outer edge of the disk will meet with the pads, and any build up of brake gases, will then be allowed to escape.
Correct way of fitment:


Plus, with them being fitted in the opposite way to above, it will also shorten the lifetime of the pads.

Just something i thought i'd point out.
