other mods done are cutting out rear grills where fans sit and the same at the front and giving it a nice clean up

1997 Fiat Punto GT Abarth - being restored
2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake
i've done a bit, not really into it any more tho...
Mmmmm ... what's the spec Phil?
Bigger case could be good choice for you. You are using some cheap multi-colours fans, they will not last long mate. Forget the lights, buy some proper silent fans
Now:
Before:
Fans died after few weeks, good for me, but waste of money ...
I had those fans for a bit, whilst they are silent i found the automatic speed control to be a bit shite, perfectly ok for a simple quiet PC, but when it comes to overclocking there not up to much.Originally Posted by Alex_Dark
my 120mm antec fans on a speed controller work pretty well tho.
Spot on, Ive never been a fan of all this LED crud!Originally Posted by Puntoboy

im not exactly into it, but i 'spruced up' my standard dell with 2 led fans round the back, and in the front grill, looks classy to me
pc fans blow quite a bit of air through them my specs are
amd athalon xp 3000 2.1Ghz (socket A)
Msi KT6V motherboard
1GB DDR400 Ram
2x 120Gb hdd IDE
g-force 6600 AGP 8x
cd rom
dvd/cd/r/rw
5 case fans (2 front suck in, 2 rear blow out, 1 side window sucking in)
uprated asaka cooler Socket A
next on the list i feel is a bigger case and water cooling but thats after i mod my car a bit more lol
there:
Nice, simple and straight to the point (if a little bit messy)
Are you planning to upgrade before going for water cooling?Originally Posted by phil_GT
water cooling would be wasted on that spec (no offence) because even if you overclocked it wouldn't be any thing special tbh.
i wouldn't even waste the money on water cooling my xp64 3500+ now(overclocked from 2.2ghz to 2.63Ghz)
But i would if i went for something pretty high spec and planned to abuse it abit i would.
