    my gt had nearly the same mileage.

    the CTR was on 38k,and my gt is on 46k.

    no doubt u will be hit with all the reliability nonsence, i dont rate vtec very well i like my torque.

    keep the punto, buy a shitter for ur daily runs

    No doubting the type r wud probably be very reliable,my dads got a honda and its never gone wrong since he got it 4years ago.

    But i wasnt impressed with the power off vtec,it seemed to take a while to get to 6000 revs.

    Gona keep the punto,and use the tro as a daily driver lol!

    you dont rate some of the best built engines ever?

    I hear Diesel's have torque. Why not get one of those then?

    Sounds to me like you spent more time off cam than you did on it? Did you struggle with the extra cog the Type-R has?? It's there to make sure you don't drop out of the zone....

    As Dale said, if you want torque, just buy a diesel.

    Isnt vtec great for instant torque for nipping into gaps and things

    i dont rate vtec, all honda engines are well built wether is vtec or not, just dont understand what the fuss is about vtec

    i wouldnt knock a diesel tho, nippy and economical
