Picture editing program

Ok, mrs wants a picture editing programme

mainly for sharpening images, cutting, enhancing etc

preferably with an album builder? or project thingy, so she can print of nice images

pictures would be family
holidays
etc

so none of this - can you put this bumper on my car and change the colour ****

what do people recomend?
wheres the best place to buy?

and i really want a proper version with distructions so she can read up and play with it!!

photoshop would be good for editing etc, but as for albums etc you would have to use the windows directories..

Tony look at photoshop elements, its the cut down version but does pretty much what you want without costing the earth

i'd stay away from photoshop if she/you have not really used it before.... yes elements is a cut down version, but its still very complex [sp] for that first time user...... i'll have a look at work for you..... some programes have one click fixes etc etc........

oops one click programs such as microsoft image ready.....

or easy cd creator has a good photo editing program.....

adobe ps can be abit hardcore unless your willing to read and practice
