    Getting good torrent speeds...

Currently using azureus and not getting great d/l speeds ever.

I've set the upload limit to 23k, set the listening port to over 50k and all the lights are green. I normally end up uploading faster than downloading.

Me and my mate both got the same torrent and he was hitting 150k on it, and I was averiging about 5k.

    Anything else I can do?

Oh yea, and my internet barely works at all when I start my transfers.

But my mates can get much higher speeds than me from the same torrents

Have you configured your firewall to work with Azureus?

Mate Iv'e got the same problem. My mate was getting 250kB/s and I was stuck on 4-5. Same torrent, same site, and all ports forwarded, firewalls set, etc. I think mine is due to my isp being a complete arse!

I also know my exchange is down due to virtual pathways going tits up or something. I was on 5mb now I'm down below 2mb connection.

    Could it all be related?
