    Bad Day At Drag Strip

I Got My Arse Handed To Me 5 Times I Came 8th Out Of 9
Iam Running A Std Gt3 With 16" Alloys Dump Valve And K&n Filter With Heat Deflector And Cat Back Exhaust. And I Could Only Get Into 16.509 1/4 Mile At 86.28 Mph. Is This Time Good Or Very Bad?
I Dont Want This To Happen Again So Iam Thinking Seb-2 ,decat, and Bleed Valve! Is There Anything I Could Of Done To Be Better On The Day?

got out of the car and let someone else drive??!! only joking
just get used to using the turbo more productively, was there any roll at the start, missing gears? maybe changing back to 14's would help a lot.

that might not of been a bad idea to let someone else drive it! it was my first time but iam still gutted.

there was no roll at the start i hit every gear went for but my change from first to second it would bog down until turbo kicked in then i would be ok the star let me down.

Practice and don't be tempted to ramp the boost up.

With a standard GT you should be very late 15's to very early 16's with a good run.

Seb 2 and associated set ups tend to get very late 14's to very low 15's.

What was your 60 ft time?

There's your answer then. Your terminal speed is none too bad, however your 60 ft isn't quick at all.

I would aim, if I were you for 2.6 @ 60 ft, you would then see your times drop to low 16, if not late 15 with that 60 ft time.
