raced one before, nothing silly, upto 120. good race. 2nd and 3rd i was breathing down his neck, but 4th and 5th (approx 85-120) he started to pull away slightly.

didnt expect to keep up with him as well as i did. Loving my car but its like a time bomb waiting to till the next problem or hick-up

Well done for achieving those sort of speeds on a public road.

I don't have a GT and no I don't race at 120mph on the road. I leave that for the track.

I have no problem with doing a sensible speed (and that can mean exceeding the designated speed limit) but racing another car at those high speeds is a little silly.

Mind you, I bet he's got less speeding points than me :lol

Climb off your high horse boys, we have all be there and would all be liars if we said we hadn't! Add to the fact none of us know the condition and circumstances we are we to judge, look at the copper would was let of doing neary 160 as it wasn't 'dangerous'!

It sounds like you're car is going well, ITR's aren't slow!

Maybe you wouldn't have invited such comments if you hadn't included the phrase 'nothing silly' before proving the length of your manhood to us all by declaring a race at 120mph.
