Did you buy this sat nav yet? I saw it in the paper. Does it have expandable memory?

for sure, just went to get it on my break...
they asked if i wanted it installing for 40 quid!

i said i thought i could manage locating the ciggie
    lighter by myself.. fools

yeah it's got an mmc memory slot but no card
supplied... and a program to sync it with your pc
for calender events, contacts and stuff... clear
voice, good 3d plan layout.. w00t!

    LOL@ the installation fee.
So once you expand the memory, can you add maps, speed cameras etc?

yeah that price was unreal, took me about a minute to
plug it all in and about anotherto navigate the menu...
felt sorry for the woman in the car park who was sat with
a worker and being talked through it... bless

errr as of the maps etc.. i'm still searching the net for stuff
now, apparently you can, but as to where to get them or
anything is still a mystery to me... literature that comes
    with it is real vague..
no doubt halfords can sell you maps but it'll probably be like
600bucks for a map of belgium with chinese voice or something!!

I don't know if, well I doubt if they do, if the Tom Tom maps would work.
Maybe map files are all the same format and its just the software itself that makes everything different. If thats the case, other maps are easy to get hold of.
