Standard for standard the GT should just pip it to the post.

At a RWYB day a few months back there was a group of them all doing mid 16's.

A standard GT on standard wheels etc should do high 15's.

there not bad for the category they were in the competition like the VTR the S handles the nuts too. But they could have done wit hmore power tbh.

imo the ST has no market place a 2.0 making only 150bhp where alll its competitors are producing 170bhp+ ford always fuk hot hatches up. What ever happened to 1.6 turbo engines.

The Fiesta ST is a very capable hatch, and great fun and decent handaling, even on 17s.

It's not got the out pace of say a 182 or CTR, it's aimed below that market though, the price shows that.

To say it's **** is just very narrow minded, for the money you can pick them up for, even new from a dealer represents great value.

Not a clue on it's 1/4 miles times, but I wouldn't imagine it being a rocket down the strip.

An ST versus GT on track would be much more interesting.

    Are you serious?

Yer the ST isn't a hot hatch, more a warm one by todays standards.

But what about the Fezza RS, the Focus RS, the new Focus ST?

Can't exactly say they're fuk ups can you!?

i mean since the rst they ahve not made a good hatch. the focus is not exactly a hatch is it.

the fiesta st is so underpowered it could have done with more. If its not a hot hatch then what is it exactly. What is a warm hatch and if it is a so called warm hatch what is its competition. for the money id by a 2nd hand 182 and get my moenys worth.
