supertorrents.org which is normally invite only has just allowed signups, so if your looking for a fast torrent site i suggest you sign up now as its only allowing sign ups till the 15th. Its the only site youll need.

download something like Bitlord http://www.bitlord.com this is a bittorrent client which allows you to download torrent files, download it and isntall it. setup where u want the files to download ie: which folder etc....
then goto a site like http://www.torrentreactor.net search for what u want, when you find something click it and download the small torrent file, lets say this is for a FILM, its only a few KB's, check the heath of the file first, green health is best, the best files to download are the ones with good ratio of seeds (people sharing the file) to leeches who are people that download but dont share the file back in upload! so 200 seeds and 195 leeches is pretty sh*t because you'll only download from 5 people, where as 200 seeds and 5 leeches is good as you will download from a maximum of 195 people (peers)
so when uve downloaded the torrent file, open it and it will open in bitlord, select the folder where you want to download the FILM and off it goes!
thats pretty much it!
