Fiesta 1.25 Zetec

Holy ***** didn't realise how fast these were?

Was one blasting about round mine and gave him a bit of a race.

He came off the roundabout a lot earlier and quicker than me and I didnt really start gaining on him till 80/90.

Then I pulled over had a chat and straight away he insisted it was standard and raised the hood, to show only a k&n and a oil breather(engine bay was really clean but the rest of the car was a total state). Then we had a level start from 20, and I was ahead of him and was pulling steady but not much upto about 85(2 car lengths) when I really started pulling on him.

Then the ****er went way to fast onto the roundabout, locked up his wheels and got 2 wheels on the roundabout - came very close to losing it.

I was really shocked at the speed of it though!!

they are nippy on initial pull off but thats where their 'power' stops.

i had the new shape fiesta 1.25 zetec as my courtesy car and i had the older shape 1.3 zetec as a company car for a year.

The 1.3 aint a zetec is it? I always thought it was the duratec engine, tappety as bleep.

1.3 are endura rattle tops and produce 55bhp in perfect conditions

It was only in a thread the other day when someone was harping on about a 1242cc Sporting that I said a Fezzie 1.25 Zetec would give it a good run

This has pretty much proven it..... afterall, yours is a 110hp missile, so should be considerably faster than an 82hp Sporting

Cal cant drive for ****, this guy in the fiesta is crazy.
