Is there a reason why we were not allowed to discuss this feature in my thread in Daily Chat that was locked???

IMO this feature should only be applied to the for sale and wanted section.

If you add something important to a thread, no one actually knows you have posted.

because there was a topic already open here for discussion.

unfortunately if cannot be applied to one section alone, its all or nothing.

its only for 24 hours, not indefinitely. say you post now, and then no one replies for 24 hours so you go back and add more information, then it will double post, but if you post before the 24 hours is up, then it will merge the post and not bump it.

does that make sense?

And if you reply too soon, it merges and you have to wait for another 24 hours I guess? Hmm you can also get a second user name and start replying to youself, but I guess that would get you banned soon enough.

Yep, quite often people do this when banned and they get found out quite easily and banned.
